Lorne Grosso Inducted into MHCA Hall of Fame

Mayo High School's long-time coach Lorne Grosso was inducated into the Minnesota Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame during the Class AA boys hockey state tournament.

The former Gopher hockey player goes into the Hall with 677 career victories, the most ever by a boys hockey coach. Grosso has lead Mayo to seven state tournaments and his teams have finished above .500 in 32 of the last 38 seasons. He was also honored last year with the John Mariucci award from the American Hockey Coaches Association.
